High Country Rafting Companies Enjoying Successful Season So Far

DENVER (CBS4) - As the snowpack in the mountains begins to melt Colorado rafting companies report a good season so far.

Strong water flows are reported on the Arkansas River, one of Colorado's most popular rivers for rafting.

If the snow melts too quickly, boaters will see a surge of water, but it won't likely last until Labor Day.

The beginning of September typically marks the end of rafting season.
