Denver Police Search For Hit And Run Suspect Vehicle

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are searching for the driver wanted in a hit and run that left one woman seriously hurt. Police say the driver intentionally tried to run down the woman.

The hit and run happened about 8:45 a.m. Friday morning at a home near W. Virginia Ave. and Irving Street in southwest Denver. The woman needed surgery for a serious leg injury.

Police said the driver of a silver 2004 Jeep Liberty intentionally drove into the yard to strike the woman.

The Jeep has a Colorado license plate number 416-ZMR.
