Newest Bronco Player Buys Home In Cherry Creek North

DENVER (CBS4)- DeMarcus Ware, one of the newest Denver Broncos, has decided to settle down in one of Denver's ritziest neighborhoods.

Sales records obtained by CBS4 show that the Pro Bowl defensive end closed a deal Thursday and bought a three bedroom, three bathroom townhome in the ultra exclusive NorthCreek development in Cherry Creek North.

Ware paid $1.37 million for the property. No financing was involved. Ware paid cash.

Ware previously played for the Dallas Cowboys but the Broncos picked him up in March after the Cowboys released him. He signed a three-year, $30 million deal with the Broncos.

His new three-level home is described as a "gorgeous brownstone " on one website and is located near the corner of 1st and Fillmore Streets.

The home was built in 2009 and maps out at 2,695 square feet. HOA dues are listed as $1,911 per month. The home was built in 2009 had been listed for sale most recently for $1.42 million.

Ware will be walking distance from some of Denver's finest restaurants and shopping.
