Man Wanted In Longmont Attack Captured By Westminster Police
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4)- The man wanted in connection with an attack in Longmont has been arrested in Westminster after police spent nearly two days searching for him.
Police found Kurt Jones at his mother's house in the 7500 block of Dale Court in Westminster at 11:18 a.m. Jones, 30, was transported to the Adams County Jail.
Investigators believe Jones choked a man while he was walking home from work Tuesday night.
Police said the attack happened around midnight in the 2100 block of Meadow Court. When officers arrived they found a 48-year-old man suffering from injuries to his neck.
The victim told police a man started choking him and his cellphone was stolen.
Cmdr. Jeff Satur says Jones faces assault and aggravated robbery charges in the attack.
