Fire Crews Get 2,000 Acre Grass Fire Under Control
YUMA , Colo. (CBS4)- Fire crews quickly got control of a large grass fire that ignited near Yuma on Wednesday.
Firefighters were able to keep the fire from damaging any homes or structures.
The fire burned about 2,000 acres some 30 miles north of Wray.
Highway 285 was closed for a short time and then reopened to traffic.
A total of 10 different fire departments responded to the fire. What started the blaze is being investigated.
