Son Of Colorado Solider Dies In Washington Slide
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The son of a Colorado soldier is among those killed in the mudslide in Washington state.
Thirteen-year-old Jovan Mangual was added to the list of the dead on Thursday.
The Gazette reports the boy's father is Staff Sgt. Jose Mangual, who is based at Fort Carson, an infantry post outside Colorado Springs.
Jovan was visiting his mother in Arlington, Wash., when the slide hit. Jose Mangual went to Washington to help in the search for the boy.
