Homicide Investigation Continues In Aurora

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Investigators were back on the scene of a homicide in Aurora on Thursday morning.

Police said a man's body was found at approximately 4:55 p.m. on Wednesday in the Sand Creek Area neat near 28th and Wheeling Street. Police said around 5 p.m. Thursday several people called to report a man on the ground with visible wounds.

The victim had several visible injuries, according to authorities, and was pronounced dead at University of Colorado Hospital. It's not clear at this time how he was killed, but officers say his wounds appear to be stabbing related. They have not recovered a weapon.

Family of the victim arrived on the scene before noon and appeared very upset. One woman told CBS4's Rahel Solomon the victim was her son.

Police have no suspect descriptions so far and say there were no witnesses.
