DENVER, Colo. (CBS4) – People concerned about the transfer fees charged by homeowners’ associations will be testifying in front of state lawmakers.

CBS4 took a closer look at the issue and found people were surprised they had to pay hundreds of dollars in fees they didn’t expect.

Colorado lawmakers are working on legislation that would require property management companies to disclose the fees they charge at the closing of a home sale, but not a cap.
