Crews Work To Fix Broken Water Main In Denver

DENVER (CBS4) - Crews with Denver Water were out working in the below freezing overnight temps trying to fix a broken water main.

The water main break happened at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday and flooded a basement in some condo units near Yale Avenue and Monaco Parkway.

About 70 units were without water service due to the problem.

Water service was restored just after 3 a.m. on Thursday.

Officials with Denver Water said this was the sixth water main break this week.
