Nasty East Coast Weather Causing Problems At DIA
DENVER (CBS4) - Another round of nasty winter weather causing problems on the East Coast and Mid-Atlantic is also causing problems for flights at Denver International Airport.
Icy conditions and a series of crashes prompted the closure of a large stretch of Interstate 65 south of Indianapolis Monday morning. It also caused gridlock on the roads and highways of Chicago, and Minneapolis woke up to a deep freeze with the thermometer at 10 below zero.
A total of about 70 flights -- both incoming and departing -- have been canceled at DIA. Some of them are due to the weather in the east. Be sure to check with airline if flying east.
