'I Love You Brother' Bandits Rob Jewelry Store In Broomfield

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4)- Three burglars took time away from ransacking a jewelry store to keep saying how much they loved each other.

Their conversation was captured at the same time as their actions on the surveillance camera for Timothy's Fine Jewelry.

The jewelry store is located at 120th Avenue and Greenway Drive in Broomfield.

Police said they got into the store by knocking out the window and stepping through. That's when all of their actions were captured by 12 cameras inside.

Timothy Nichols owns the family-operated business.

"I think they took about 30 items overall," said Nichols. "Every case here had something in it."

The thieves smashed the glass jewelry cases and made off with rings, watches and necklaces.

"You spend years building a business as a family and people walk in and have no regard," said Nichols.

Throughout the video you can hear the men saying, "I love you brother" numerous times.

"This guy is going to leave and tell this guy 'I love you brother,'" said Nichols.

You're in here ruining somebody's store and you're loving people, they just weren't loving us."

Nichols hopes everyone will take a good look at the suspects with one wearing a garish plaid jacket and the other wearing a ball cap with "303" on it.

Police in Broomfield are hoping someone will recognize the suspects and call detectives.
