Police ID Woman Found Dead In Car In Castle Rock
CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Castle Rock have released the identity of a woman who found dead in her car at a local towing company.
The Douglas County coroner has identified that woman as Lea Marie Lippincott, 53, of Colorado Springs.
Officers were called to Westside Towing at 1080 Atchison Way about 9:40 a.m. last Thursday on reports that a woman was sleeping in her car. Police found the woman who was deceased in the back seat.
The car had been impounded in December.
The cause of the woman's death is being investigated.
Police are working with the Douglas County Coroner's Office and the Douglas County Crime Scene Unit.
