Prior To Super Bowl, Broncos Must Prepare For Media Day

DENVER (CBS4) - Now that they are AFC Conference Champions, the Broncos have a big task ahead of them.

They must prepare for an event that draws members of the media from around the world.

No, we're not talking about the Super Bowl.

We're talking about something that happens five days beforehand -- Super Bowl Media Day!

The Broncos players and coaches will be in the spotlight on Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., for the event. Thousands of reporters assemble for the event each year for the opportunity to do interviews with members of the NFL's two conference champions.

Fans can actually attend the event by buying tickets through Ticketmaster. The NFL's Super Bowl website states that the tickets cost $28.50 each and allow fans to sit in the stands to watch all the action going down on the floor.

The Broncos will play in Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.

Additional Resources

The NFL's Super Bowl website also states the following information for interested fans:

Fans will receive a Media Day gift bag that will include a radio to tune into the day's coverage on NFL Network and listen to some of the individual player interviews from the podium microphones' audio. In addition, there will be player and cheerleader appearances. Fans also will have access to concession and merchandise stands throughout the day.
