DENVER (CBS4) – Ruby Hill Rail Yard opened on Saturday for its eighth season.

The free urban terrain park offers eight different rails for all abilities and levels.

The park is free and kids eight to 17 can rent equipment free as well.

“This is the first time I’ve ever skied. I’m actually pretty good for the first time,” said Christian Zavala.

The park is located on Platte River Drive and Jewell Drive.

It will stay open as long as the weather permits.
