Broncos Fans Rally Friday To Show Team Spirit

DENVER (CBS4)- Denver Broncos fans are getting ready to show their "United in Orange team spirit in advance of Sunday's AFC Championship game.

The New England Patriots take on the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Sunday for the AFC Championship game.

Broncos fans are encouraged to wear orange on Friday to show their support of the Broncos.

Fans will gather in front of the City County Building on Friday at 1 p.m. for what the mayor's office is calling a "bigger and better" United in Orange, Time to Ride Friday.

Denver Mayor Michael Hancock, the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, Miles the Mascot, Broncos alumni and Thunder will be at the rally.

Gov. John Hickenlooper kissed Thunder for good luck ahead of the rally on Friday morning.

Fans will receive pom poms, buttons, stickers and even have a chance to enter to win tickets to the game.

Mayor Hancock will sign a "Good Luck Broncos" banner and rename Bannock Street to "Broncos Boulevard" for the remainder of the postseason.
