Colorado Springs Shooting Victim Identified
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Authorities have identified a 19-year-old man who was shot to death New Year's Day in Colorado Springs.
The coroner's office identified the victim as Olajuwon Juvann Kumangai of Palo Guam.
Police say they found Kumangai's body 7 a.m. Wednesday while responding to a call of shots fired at an apartment complex.
Resident Tia Seqeuira says she heard a gunshot followed by two women and a man screaming.
Police say 30-year-old Matthew John Dejong was arrested that night on suspicion of first-degree murder.
