Von Miller Tears ACL, Out For The Season

DENVER (CBS4) - Von Miller will miss the rest of the season for the Broncos after tearing his ACL on Sunday.

The Broncos linebacker took a shove in the first quarter and went over awkwardly during the Broncos-Texans game. He didn't return to the field after walking off the field.

CBS4's Vic Lombardi reports that the MRI performed on Miller came out with the bad news:

Lombardi reported that Miller experienced looseness in knee leading up to the game.

So far it's not clear what grade of tear it is.

The Broncos defense has had to deal with numerous injuries this season, and also had to work without Miller for the first six games of the season due to his suspension for violating the NFL's drug policy.

CBS4 Medical Editor Dr. Dave Hnida blogged about Miller's injury on Sunday night.
