Colorado Chevrolet Dealers Donate Much-Needed Truck To Glen Haven
GLEN HAVEN, Colo. (CBS4) - There has been a huge donation for one of the Colorado communities hit hardest by the September floods.
The Glen Haven Area Volunteer Fire Department got a brand new Silverado equipped with a snow plow. Chevrolet and the Colorado Chevrolet Dealers donated the Silverado.
"This is just incredible. A $50,000 to $60,000 truck, you can't put into words. It would take us years to raise that money to buy a new truck," Glen Haven Area Volunteer Fire Chief Jason Gdovicak said.
Glen Haven sits along Highway 43, about eight miles outside of Estes Park. This fall a wall of water destroyed the heart of town.
Gdovicak says in addition to plowing they'll also use the new truck to haul debris still left over from the flooding.
