Group Gathers To Honor Shooting Victims

DENVER (CBS4) – Saturday marked the anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting.

Saturday morning a group gathered at Cheeseman Park to honor the victims.

Members of "Moms Demand Actions For Gun Sense In America" rang bells and sang for the 26 victims.

They also paid tribute to the victims of the Aurora theater shooting and Columbine massacre.

"We stand here today more motivated than ever to protect our children, our families, and our communities from gun violence," said one of the moms.

The group was created to push for gun reform. They have chapters in every state.
