Man Killed In Hit & Run Crash Near Colo. Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a driver who was involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash near Colorado Springs.
The Colorado State Patrol says three people were involved in a rollover crash near mile marker 38 on state Highway 115 at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday. They were trying to flag down vehicles for help when one of them was struck and killed.
The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Ian G. Saj, of Brush.
Authorities are looking for a mid-sized or large sedan, possibly a Dodge Stratus or Intrepid, that left the scene. The vehicle would have damage to its front end, likely on the driver's side, and possibly a damaged windshield. Investigators do not know the vehicle's color.
