Anti-Gang Activist Waives Right To Preliminary Hearing
DENVER (CBS4) - An anti-gang activist waived his preliminary hearing on shooting charges on Wednesday.
Terrance Roberts is charged with shooting a man in September at a Northeast Denver rally near an event connected to his Progidal Son anti-gang initiative.
Roberts spoke with reporters briefly as he left a Denver courtroom Wednesday morning.
"I can't talk to you guys about my case," he said.
Roberts has contended he was assaulted. He's also charged with possessing a gun even though he has a felony record.
Roberts is due back in court next month to enter a plea.
