Denver Rescue Mission Prepares For Influx Because Of Frigid Temps
DENVER (CBS4) - The Denver Rescue Mission spent Tuesday making sure it had plenty of beds and blankets ready for the night as temperatures are expected to drop considerably.
The mission will have its main and emergency shelters open for the night.
'We're just making sure people are warm and safe, which can be the difference between life and death in these temperatures," Alexxa Gagner with the Denver Rescue Mission said.
The mission has enough beds for 465 men and women overnight. It may also be open as a day shelter on Wednesday depending on the conditions.
