Shoppers Having Trouble Using Bank Cards
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – Many Colorado Springs shoppers have reported problems using their bank cards.
The problems stem from Academy Bank.
Once customer says he was charged 18 times for the same purchase.
Some people using the cards to stop have been denied because of negative balances.
"Here I am trying to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family and provide for my kids and the money is there but I still wasn't able to access it," said a shopper.
Another woman had a negative $1,100 balance when her card was denied.
Academy bank is apologizing and is trying to correct the problems.
