Smartphone Apps Make Black Friday Shopping Easier
DENVER (CBS4) – Several smart phone apps can help make Black Friday shopping easier by helping shoppers save money and time.
The free app "BF Ads" allows for users to search through thousands of products, compare, shop, and even create a shopping list to take with.
According to American Express, 55 percent of consumers plan to shop online that day versus the 52 percent who will actually go to the stores.
Another helpful free app is called "Bakodo Barcode Scanner." It will search more than 20,000 stores to see if that product is cheaper somewhere else.
Another free app, "Snipsnap," allows consumers to take photographs of coupons so clerks can simply scan the barcode at the counter.
