No Visits For Couple Accused Of Starving 4 Kids
DENVER (AP) — A judge has denied a request from a couple accused of keeping their four young boys in a filthy Denver apartment that would have allowed them to visit their children.
Wayne Sperling and Lorinda Bailey are charged with four counts of felony child abuse. Both remained out on bond Thursday.
The four boys, ranging in age from two to six, were removed from their parents' home in early October. The boys spoke only in grunts when police removed them from the feces-littered apartment, according to an affidavit.
Their arraignment has been scheduled for Jan. 23.
