BLACK FOREST, Colo. (CBS4) - Two people are dead and another is in serious condition after shootings in Black Forest Saturday morning.

According to the El Paso County Sheriff's Department, deputies responded to Timberlane Court after 8 a.m. and found one person who was shot and killed. They haven't said where the other two shootings occurred but said they also responded to a reported home invasion about 5 miles away on Burrows Road around 11 a.m.

Deputies are searching for Kenneth Lankford, 46, as a person of interest. He is considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen wearing all black clothing and could be carrying a black duffle bag. Deputies said he is reportedly driving a stolen red 2002 Honda Odyssey with Colorado license plate 048-GJB.

Lankford is believed to be connected to one of the crime scenes. Neighbors told CBS4 he may have lived in the residence on Burrows Road.

The sheriff's department reported multiple crime scenes, meaning there could be even more.

Anyone who sees Lankford is asked not to approach him and call 911 immediately.
