Man Accused Of Giving Marijuana Cookies To 2 Teens

DENVER (AP) — Prosecutors say a Denver man is accused of giving marijuana-laced cookies to two teenagers who became sick and were taken to a hospital after eating them.

The Denver district attorney's office said Friday that 40-year-old Davirak Ky allegedly gave 13- and 15-year-old boys the cookies on Nov. 2 or Nov. 3. DA's spokeswoman Lynn Kimbrough says the boys didn't know the cookies contained marijuana.

Ky faces charges of child abuse, assault and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is free on bond.

No phone number could be found for him.
