Chief Of Largest Colorado School District To Retire
GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) - The superintendent of Colorado's largest school district is retiring.
Cindy Stevenson announced at a Jefferson County Public Schools board meeting Thursday she will step down in July. She had been superintendent since 2002.
Stevenson did not say what her plans were.
The district just west of Denver has 85,000 students, 4,000 teachers and 154 schools.
