FBI Conducting Search At Grand Junction Airport

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) — FBI agents are conducting a search at the Grand Junction airport as part of an investigation into alleged fraud by airport administration.

FBI spokesman Dave Joly didn't release any other details about Wednesday's search but did say the investigation didn't involve airport operations or flight safety. He said the search isn't expected to affect flight operations of security screenings.

Amy Jordan, director of administration for the airport, tells KKCO-TV that she can't comment on the investigation at this time.
