Fort Collins Considers Expanding Smoking Ban To Outdoors

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - The Fort Collins City Council will discuss a plan to expand the city's smoking ban.

State law forbids smoking in most restaurants and bars. The proposal in Fort Collins would expand the ban to outdoor drinking and dining areas, including restaurant patios.

Smokers would also have to be at least 20 feet away from bus stops and benches.
