DENVER (CBS4) - Thousands of people hit the streets in downtown Denver for the annual diabetes walk on Saturday.

"Myself and my boyfriend both lost our fathers to diabetes within the last couple of years, so it's a strong cause for us that we want to support and give back to. It just means a lot to us," Shannon Serna said.
