Skydiver Injured After Hard Landing In Longmont
LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4) - A skydiver had to be hospitalized after a hard landing at the Vance Brand Airport in Longmont on Sunday.
Police said the skydiver may have suffered a broken leg after 20 mile per hour winds forced him to the ground. He also suffered facial injuries and a possible concussion.
Police and firefighters were dispatched to the airport just before 4 p.m. Cmdr. Jeff Satur said the injured man is from Casper, Wyo. He was taken to Longmont United Hospital for treatment.
