Loveland Pass Open After Snow Slide
SILVERTHORNE, Colo. (AP) - A snow slide on Friday closed Loveland Pass for more than three hours.
Department spokesman Joe Tucker said no injuries were reported from the snow slide early Friday. He said driving was treacherous over Vail Pass, where several tractor-trailers jackknifed overnight. Those accidents were cleared and the highway reopened.
The National Weather Service said Friday travel over high mountain passes in northern and central Colorado will be difficult because of snow and blowing snow.
