DENVER (CBS4) - More accolades are coming in for Broncos players. The NFL on Wednesday named cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie the AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Rodgers-Cromartie turned in a eye-opening performance with five tackles and an interception returned 75 yards for a touchdown during Sunday's 45-21 win over the Washington Redskins. It was the sixth-longest pick-six in Broncos history.
Rodgers-Cromartie joins Peyton Manning and Trindon Holliday as Broncos earning a conference player of the week award so far this season.
He previously won the award when he was NFC Defensive Player of the Week with the Arizona Cardinals in 2009.
