Denver Metro Area Sees Record Rise In Home Prices For August
DENVER (CBS4) - Home prices in the Denver metro area rose faster in August than any time in the last 6 years -- and they hit record levels in Denver.
The new numbers come from the Standard & Poor's Case-Shiller Index, which monitors home prices.
In Denver prices were up 10.1 percent in August from August of last year.
All 20 cities surveyed show year-to year gains. The biggest price increase came in Las Vegas where home prices shot up 29 percent August to August.
