LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - Fire crews and police are investigating four suspicious overnight fires in Lakewood.

The fires all happened in the area near Alameda Avenue and Garrison Street, just south of Colorado Christian University. All of the fires started with cars starting on fire, according to the fire marshall. Some structures caught fire as a result.

One of those was a two-alarm fire in the 300 block of South Estes, and when Copter4 flew over the scene at 6 a.m. a carport was in flames and twelve cars were burning.

There are no reports of any injuries in any of the fires.

Officials closed Alameda and Garrison streets in the area while fire crews battled the fires.
