Rabid Cat Bites Man In Platteville
PLATTEVILLE, Colo. (CBS4) - Health officials are warning people living in Platteville about rabies.
The warning was issued after a rabid cat bit a man who was working on a backyard fence. The incident happened next to Platteville Elementary School.
Even though the rabid cat is dead, health officials are concerned other animals in that same location may also have rabies. They warn if an animal looks sick to stay away and call animal control.
