Aurora Police Believe Alcohol Involved In Serious Single Motorcycle Crash

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A motorcyclist is in critical condition after crashing into a parked car in Aurora Sunday night.

According to Lt. Jeff Turner with Aurora police, the motorcyclist was heading eastbound on East Ford Avenue at approximately 10:20 p.m. when it left the road to the south and struck a car parked in a parking lot.

"The car was pushed into a second parked car. The adult male rider was thrown over the cars and landed in the parking lot," Turner said in a statement.

The man, whose name hasn't been released, was taken to the hospital and has been listed in critical condition on life support.

"It is unknown if he will survive his injuries," Turner said.

Turner said the man wasn't wearing a helmet and investigators believe he was intoxicated.
