Police Search For 'Help Yourself Bandit' In Series Of Robberies

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are hoping to track down a serial robber dubbed the "Help Yourself Bandit."

The man has robbed several businesses in the area of East 35th Avenue and North Quebec Street.

Police said the man simulates a weapon in his pocket and demands money from the registers.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6-foot to 6-foot-3, 160 to 180 pounds. He usually wears a white or grey hoodie and covers his face with a black mask.

Between Aug. 12 and Aug. 28 the man robbed the following businesses: Golden Spoon Yorgurt, Papa Johns, Sonic, Radio Shack, Cricket Wireless and another Radio Shack location.

Anyone with information regarding these crimes or recognizes the suspect in the picture is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP (7867). If the information you provide leads to the arrest and charging of a wanted individual, you can receive a cash reward up to $2,000.
