Base Jumpers Leap From Denver Skyscraper
DENVER (CBS4) - Two base jumpers leapt from the top of the Four Seasons Hotel Denver on Tuesday.
Jeff Provenzano and Miles Daisher are part of a team that has completed more than 100,000 skydives and 6,000 base jumps but this was their first one in the Mile High City.
"There are people everywhere," Provenzano said. "Normally when we're base jumping we're out in the cliffs and in canyons and it's just me and Miles and our bros and nobody gets to share that experience with us. But down here in downtown Denver we've got you guys."
The jumpers are part of the "Red Bull Air Force" and they were raising money for the Colorado Scholarship Coalition.
