Winds were calm in the afternoon in the Arbordale Acres neighborhood but much stronger gusts blew in sometime after 6 p.m. and uprooted the tree.

"We had some winds and they were picking up and picking up and then suddenly they just got real intense, and it was crazy almost like a tornado and then the tree fell over," neighbor Rick Flatt said.

A sister and brother live in the home. The woman was sleeping inside when the tree fell but luckily she wasn't injured. She was asleep on the other side of the structure.

"The first thing I did was run right out of my house and run straight next door and it was still pouring rain and windy when I seen the tree go over. I ran right next door and started beating on their door," Flatt said.

Neighbors told CBS4 the woman and her brother do not have insurance to cover the damage. They are staying with friends until their home is repaired.
