Voluntary Recall From Boulder Nut Butter Company

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - A Boulder-based food manufacturer has issued a voluntary recall of some lots of maple almond butter and chocolate hazelnut butter because of metallic fragments.

The company said Monday no metal has been found in any individual jars, but Justin's of Boulder and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment said they wanted to take precautions.

No consumer complaints, illnesses or injuries have been reported.

The products were distributed nationally to numerous retailers and were available for purchase on the Internet from July 18 to Aug. 14.
