Wildfire That Burned 800 Acres Near Hayden Under Control

HAYDEN, Colo. (CBS4) - A wildfire that broke out near Hayden on Saturday is under control, according to the Steamboat Today.

The Steamboat Today reported that Routt County Sheriff Garrett Wiggins said the Cog Fire burned about 800 acres.

"I think we have a pretty good grip on it," Wiggins told the newspaper.

According to Wiggins, about eight to 10 homes were threatened by the fire and some residents, along with some livestock had to be evacuated.
