Hundreds Attend 'Viva Streets' In Cesar Chavez Park
DENVER (CBS4) - The streets surrounding Cesar Chavez Park were closed off to cars and opened up to bicyclists, strollers and walkers on Sunday for "Viva Streets."
The event is designed to promote fitness. There were also booths along the streets to promote healthy living.
"Riding my bike is really fun, so I think I really like it because I can go out and ride my bike and walk around and do stuff that I can't always do every day," young Talia Boyle said.
It was the third year for the event. In the previous two years it took place in Park Hill, but this year it was moved to a bigger space to include more residents.
Viva Streets was a CBS4 sponsored event. It was run by LiveWell Colorado.
