Electronics Recycling Event To Be Held At Sports Authority Field

DENVER (CBS4) - Preparations are underway for a huge recycling event.

Arrow Electronics is giving people a chance to get rid of their old cellphones, televisions, computer monitors, and small appliances like microwaves.

As of last month it's against the law in Colorado to toss electronics in the trash.

The company will also wipe out hard drives.

The event takes place Sunday beginning at 8 a.m. at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The Denver Broncos cheerleaders will also be there.
