CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) – Arapahoe County deputies have arrested a man accused of Internet luring of a child.
According to the sheriff’s office, on June 29 a concerned parent contacted the deputies to report that an unknown person contacted her 13-year-old daughter over the Internet and attempted to establish a sexual relationship.READ MORE: COVID In Colorado: Rural Hospitals Worry About Staffing As Vaccination Deadline Approaches
“Upon receiving the report, Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigators initiated a criminal investigation. Investigators, posing as the 13-year-old female, communicated with the unknown subject using the Internet and text messaging,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.READ MORE: Focus On New Moms, Pregnant Women In Colorado Naloxone Project Expansion

An undercover sting netted Stribling last Friday. He is a registered sex offender on parole and faces charges of internet luring of a child.
