CSU Sets Fundraising Record -- Again
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - Colorado State University has set a fundraising record for a second straight year.
The university said Monday that it raised a record $112.5 million in private donations this past fiscal year, surpassing last year's record of $111.6 million. It had a record 33,614 donors this past fiscal year, up from the previous record of 31,690 a year earlier.
CSU's vice president for university advancement, Brett Anderson, says the school has been promoting a message that small donations can help as much as the larger gifts.
It also has been stepping up efforts to tout its work, faculty, students, facilities and programs.
