Power Surge Knocks Out Some Overhead Lights At DIA

DENVER (AP) — Operations are back to normal after a power surge briefly knocked out some lights in concourses at Denver International Airport and caused other lights to flicker.

Airport spokeswoman Laura Coale said Thursday the power surge did not affect any airline operations.

She says Xcel Energy is still trying to determine the cause of the power surge, which left some course areas temporarily in the dark.
