Assessment Reveals West Fork Complex Fire Only 19 Percent Contained

CREEDE, Colo. (CBS4) - The battle against the massive West Fork Complex Fire took a setback on Monday.

Approximately 441 homes and businesses were threatened by the flames burning in southern Colorado on Monday.

The West Fork Complex consists of three fires all sparked by lightning in the San Juan and Rio Grande national forests.

The total fire containment number actually decreased Monday because of a more accurate assessment. The 110,000 acre fire is now 19 percent contained.
