Roommate Says She Found Child Porn On Teacher's Computer

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - A Boulder High School teacher has been fired after he was arrested on child pornography charges.

Jason Wichlinski, 41, was fired from his job at Boulder High School following his arrest in Westminster. The Boulder Valley School District sent CBS4 Wichlinski's work history. He spent that last eight years teaching in the Boulder Valley School District. His job this past school year was with special education students.

Wichlinski is accused of sexual exploitation of a child. The arrest affidavit states several hundred files were found of "pubescent and pre-pubescent females posing provocatively." The females appeared to be from "2 to 14 years of age."

Westminster police say they were tipped off by Wichlinski's female roommate. They lived in a townhome together. It is now occupied by new renters.

Police say the roommate was using Wichlinski's iPhone and came across some pornographic images of young girls. The court document states she described "90 percent of the images depicting teen abuse/agony or teen choking."

The roommate says she then checked Wichlinski's laptop computer. She told police she found "a great deal of child pornography" and videos of "8- or 10-year old girls having sex with men."

When investigators asked Wichlinski if he had ever downloaded child pornography, he said "I don't believe so ... I don't think so whatsoever." He later stated he had "come across stuff that disturbed me."

Investigators say it does not appear that any of Wichlinski's students were in any of the pictures found on his computer.
